This is a growing field of research within modern physics and beyond.
The theory of nonlinearity and chaos relates to statistical physics
and to complex systems. The field has a pronounced interdisciplinary
character. Our research interests include many-body and disordered
systems, semiclassical methods, random matrices, supersymmetry, field
theories, elastodynamical systems on macro- and on nanometer-scales,
as well as applications in economics and medicine.
