COLLOQUIUM IN PHYSICS

AND

ASTRONOMY

What can we learn from

experiments at ESS?

Prof. Lars Börjesson

Swedish Research Council and

Chalmers University of Technology

Tuesday 7 February at 15.00

Lecture Hall A, Physics Department

Neutrons constitute an invaluable tool for fundamental research in several branches of science such as condensed matter physics, materials science, and life sciences. The high intensity of the neutrons from the ESS will provide novel possibilities far beyond what has been achieved up to now. Some of these issues will be addressed in this talk.

These joint Colloquia are aimed at students, teachers, researchers and interested public. Coffee and cake will be served before the talk from 14.45.

Welcome!
